New Version Of Calcium
I have mentioned before how much I like the application Calcium. Now mtvoid, the makers of Calcium and Control Freak, has released a new version of Calcium.

The new version of Calcium is optimized for the Nokia E61's 320 x 240 screen as well as fixes the decimal point bug. The new version of Calcium is available here.

mmhh.
still have issues with decimal bug.
on German keyboard.
only works with shift-, which means a ;
input via number pad is worse.
now I have to press always ablue-shift to get to numbers.
before it was different.
still a way to go!”

Hi
I also like calcium on my E61 however is there a way to type the digits as a default without having to press the blue button to enter the digits?
After all only figures can be calculated so it is pointless to have to press the blue key.
Thanks

Same issues with entering numbers / holding blue button. It’s very, very inconvenient to enter numbers while holding the blue buttons in this calculator alternative. Any tips?

I will try to sort out the problem of having to hold the blue button while entering numbers (for E61 users who have the latest firmware from Nokia which broke this functionality) and release a new version on Monday.

The file has been updated to version 1.02. I installed firmware 2.0618.06 to my phone and fixed the problem of having to press the Blue key with numbers. Let me know if there are still problems…

[...] I strongly recommend this software over the built-in calculator (one has to wonder why Nokia keeps it around - Samsung phones’ calculator software works much like Calcium). It’s one of the few apps I put a shortcut to in my standby screen. Thanks to the E-Series blog for the heads up! [...]

I have E61 and I am experiencing an issue with numeric key 3, which has to be used along with function (blue) key to work. All other keys work alone. Strangely, the same issue happens with Phone Shortcuts application from http://tektronic.ro.
Did anyone experience something similar?
