Nokia E61 and Nokia E62 Themes Galore
As promised, here are a number of fresh themes for the Nokia E61. Naturally, these themes also work for the Nokia E62. All themes are created by D3. Feel free to leave comments for D3. All the files are available for download in one package.

More Nokia E61 themes are available on the theme page. If you are having problems installing the theme and get an error message about “Certificates” read this. There is a very simple solution. Have you made any cool themes? send them to me so the rest of us can enjoy them.

Many of these themes do not take the usability of the Active Standby screen into account. Some look great with their nice pictures but make the standby screen so busy with different colours etc. they make the text unreadble.
Better to stick with simplier plain images I have found.

what program is used to make these themes. I tried carbide but it is not optimized for the E61/E62

I like new themes they add colour and make ur cell more interesting but somehow whenever I install new theme I use it for a day or two and switch back to my original one.
Nokia E-61 is a business phone and the standby screen is used for tasks and calender entries so I guess the white theme is the best suitable for it

can never seem to download from rapidshare always says download limit crossed……so frustrating….I love the first one, if only you could host it out some place else?

Im the author of these themes,and for most i agree with you
I will try to put more simpler backgrounds in my themes in the future.Its to bad though,some of those backgrounds look really awesome on E61 screen.

It’s often more of a challenge to create a theme that is interesting but at the same time uncluttered. Readabiity is very NB on most devices. Its for this reason I love the brushed metal theme. Its understated, but very sleek and I always return to it….
Fair play to D3 for creating these themes and I wouldn’t dismiss his efforts out of hand until everyone tries to create themes of their own.
It IS a lot harder than it seems once you get started.. I think its a fault of the theme creator software in a way, as it doesn’t have a plethora of options.
So cheers again to D3 for these themes cause to be fair there are f**k all E61-E62 themes out there.
Anyone can download and install a theme creator to their desktop so we should be getting many more E61 themes from everyone if these don’t suit.. (hint hint… lets see u all do better…

Yea..its not that easy at all.Especialy for E61 becous there isnt any theme making program that actually supports E61 themes makin so you must improvise.Its pretey hard to make a theme for E61,specialy if you want to have custom indicators or cutom menues.
Right now im making a warcraft 3 theme collection,i changed most of the icons,menues are totaly custom made,scroll bars etc.I will send them as soon as i finish them.

I’m stuck behind a firewall that stops me from downloading the themes. Any chance of putting them somewhere that the IT dept. here wouldn’t consider as peer-to-peer?

I am having an issue where I have installed many things on my 2GB card and when I restart my phone the theme that I used to have prior to the restart(saved on the mmc) gets reset to the old nokia standard theme. Also with software I am having a similar problem where after I restart the phone does not load the software installed on the MMC. Does anyone know whats going on ?

Please help, how can I adjust the e-mail program backgroung to make it white and use black letters. What if I have the dark theme ? How can I see the text in the e-mail ? Can you change fonts???

I have just changed my memory card to 2G and found that I was not able to install some themes which I could when I was using the 64MB card. The error message I get is always “unable to install”. Anyone has any idea what happened ?

I noticed that my nokia browser is unable to explore the content in my 2G memory card. It can detect the 2G card but whenever I click on it, the whole application just closed. Wonder what is wrong ?

Hi Ali,
The files are still there. Here’s how you get them.
1. Click on the link to Rapidshare: http://rapidshare.de/files/34213503/D3_Nokia_E61_Themes.zip.html
2. Click on “free” option, down at the page
3. Wait until the count down timer stops (usually around 1 minute)
4. Enter the code
5 Click download.
I know, it is a bit of a hassle but I need to conserve badwidth on my server so I have to rely on 3rd party hosting services for the themes.

Hi,
I have been tryin to install themes on my new Nokia E61…when i did..it gave me an error “un supported format .sis’ wonder y..? and i have a few themes downloaded on the computer but m not sure how to get them on my phone..??
i have connected the data cable..n its showing a list of folders..but m not knowing where will these themes go..??
CAN SOMEONE PLEASEEEEEEEE HELP…??

Can any one tell whether I’ll be able to change the replacement housing for my E51 with using a screw driver that is will I have to open my set for changing a replacement housing?
