I NEED to know how you did this Andres!!! The paint job looks smooth as hell. Would I be able remove the faceplate housing and paint it? What steps did you use? Can you do us all a favor and walk us through this STEP-BY-STEP? Thanks...

Hey Andres, as many have said ... you did a great job. I'd like to do the same thing. Tell me how you did actually? How many layer of paint and from which distance you've been spreading the paint. Did you use any "fixing" product in order to fix and stabilize the paint and make it "glossy" that way ? Thanks for your answer :) !
ps: what is the S2000 color?

Hello again,
It seems like I have commented postively on the new facing a bit too soon. The on / off button just fell off and another small part of the shell is really loose.

The material is way more vulnerable than the original and this does not seem to be a permanent solution. Sure if you can get it cheap on ebay then it is perhaps worth trying out since the procedure of changing it is really simple.

Either way I am back to my good old silver facing that still looks amazing ;)

I just changed facing on my Nokia E61 from the standard silver to the ebay-purchased black one.

It looks great with the silver keys in my opinion but it does not fit as good as the original. Feels a bit loose and if you shake it you hear that it is not fitted perfectly. Still going to keep it just for the looks of it ;).

I used a replaced case which I scratched quite badly. Now, after the paint job it looks like new. I just need to get one of those S2000 now that I got a phone matching the paint :) .
