E-Series Meets Treonauts
A lot of people and blogs inspired me to create E-Series.org. Many of them are mentioned in my "Daily Essentials" list of Nokia E61 blogs. However, many of you are not mentioned. For an example, all of you who frequently drop me a note with questions, suggestions, tips, themes and pictures - *thank you*
One more source of inspiration who is not on my "Daily Essentials" list is my very good, old friend Andrew over at Treonauts. Andrew, more than anyone was the main source of inspiration and support before the blog got started.

Treonauts meets E-Series. Andrew showed me his limited edition Black Tie Treo 650, below, and his new Treo 750v above. Nice but still no Nokia E61

I looked into the 700v but the review over at PDA24/7 matches the experience of friends at vodafone who tried the phone - it’s flakly and (in the uk at least) it struggles to pick up a 3g signal.

Before getting my Nokia e61, I’d used Treos for 3 years.
After using the e61 for 2 months now, I’ll be looking closely at what Palm have on offer when upgrade time comes. There are just too many annoying inconveniences with the Nokia interface for me to be entirely happy with the e61. Having said that, Palm haven’t released any new PalmOS devices in Europe, and don’t look set to. I’m not going to buy a Win Mob device, so unless there is a PalmOS device available here in 10 months I’ll have to look at the next crop of Nokias.
It’s easier to hear people (and to be heard) with the Nokia though.

Are they ever likely to ? Garnet is unable to hand 3g in any stable manner.
