Website Updates
As some you noticed and kindly pointed out to me, performance of the blog was less than ideal this week. I apologise for the inconvenience.
I thought all was honky dory when I received an alarming email from my hosting company telling me that the e-series blog was being flooded with access attempts. The blog was receiving up to 5,000 access attempts in one hour. It turned out that a number of forums in Asia and Europe was hotlinking some posts that proved to generate quite a lot of interest.
While looking into the problem of the sluggish site I also found that many of my screen shots and images have ended up on a number of sites with no reference back to e-series.org.
Don’t take this the wrong way - I believe that all information should be free. I run this little blog out of my own expenses with the only motive to help other e-series users. I really like it when people find the blog useful.
However, if you do like the blog and want to use the photos and screen shots please don’t hotlink and please reference the blog! Anyway - thanks to some help from my friend Daniel I made some tweaks to my site that hopefully will result in better performance.

You will likely continue to have this type of traffic, because 1.) your content is relevant and interesting, and 2.) Cingular’s introduction of the E62 in the US will likely steer traffic your way. Keep up the good work and let me know if I can make a ‘donation’.

Its sad that people cannot give credit where credit is due, unfortunately since your pics are not watermarked I knew this would probably happen.
Anyway keep up the good work and hopefully other will give back the same appreciation.
