I picked up my wife's 6682 for $25 in Jan '06 with MIR ofcourse. The best deals are often in Chinese or Indian owned cell dealerships. I know one a few Iselin, NJ. Also had picked up SLVR $0 (2 yr + data plan) w/ 512Mb card in Feb'06. I had to renew my contract and was eagerly awaiting E61; hence, picked up the SLVR as a gift for my bro. Only to later find out that Cingular just 9300 to their line :( would hv picked up that instead. Oh well.... I bloody happy with my E61..though. They are just giving these things away aren't they. Its amazing. I upgraded my Sony Ericsson S710a so I paid a fabulous $180 - the $40 I sold my old phone for. Not a bad buy IMO. Its really a nice phone. Im still peeved about the crippled J2ME support tho. But Im ever hopeful. The phone has only been selling with Cingular for less than 2 months so Im hoping for firmware updates soon...or some more lax settings for Java. Good lord!!!!!
