Themes Bonanza
One of the most prolific theme designers must be Babi from BabiNokia. Her website is a treasure trove filled with great themes. I have highlighted a few.
If there ever was a theme that made me think of Yahoo! this is it.

http://e61life.com/ has actually a video guide on theme making if you’re interested. Click on the Carbide UI How-To link at the top of the page. Not as easy as you might think.

I had asked about the “office” icon and why it didnt change with the theme here

one solution: create a new folder named “office” and move all the content from the old one over… it now changes with the themes - the pencil on the folder is gone but at least the all the icons match..

BabiNokia has always make great themes. i have the dragon theme. now i have ultraviolet and wintermoon. more POWER to BabiNokia.

Why are the themes 1,5mb each?
Aren’t they to heavy?

Not too heavy… New icons takes about 1mb… some images are more heavy than other… that’s the reason ….. I do always also a default version of my themes (with default icons) so theme are more light…… I try to do more light theme but is not so easy….. I’m not a graphic….
But also the theme “digitiles” in nokia theme studio is over 1mb…

Dear friends, ive got a software called Diy on my N73 that makes superb themes from any format images within 1 to 3 minutes, after i install it, i quit searching any other themes.

This is a dumb question but how do you take babi’s themes and make them work with the e61 without getting the graphic to stretch?

The themes are stretched. The trick is to pick themes which will not appear stretched. (Patterns etc.)

I got a new (larger) memory card and wanted to re-install the themes onto it. For about 1/2 of them, it goes through the whole installation process then says “Unable to Install”. It’s not a certificate error, it’s a whole different thing. Themes I’ve been using for months and are on my old card, won’t load onto the new card or the E61. Is it a device issue? A card issue? A combo? Thanks for any/all feedback.

When you install a theme on memory card some hidden files go to phone memory. So if you change memory card you must unistall the theme from the old memory and after reinstall it on the new. You can’t install the same theme if you don’t delete it before…….. You can do also another thingh: you must open the theme sis file with unsis (free program by the3sky)
Inside the sis there is a folder called with a long number. Copy this folder with a pc card reader in E\private\10207114\import. In this folder there are all themes….. Restart the phone and you can see your theme… Sorry for my english… hope you have understand what I mean…..

hi babi,your themes are the excellent themes .i have one querry,in the screenshots you have posted on your site,i love those icons.which theme.zip file has got those icons ,out of those 3 packs link which is with screenshots icon?

For the full version (with all new icons) called “_by_babi” you must clik on screenshot for download, or you can download from the gallery (in the gallery there are only full version) The other link is for other phone (like 3250) that has problems with new icons…. Or for who wants the default incons (more light themes).

just another thing… in the last two themes I have do also a Eseries version (for 416×352 resolution)… This version is “full” too…… (I have no test them, but hope can work well on e61…..

is that mean that we make a 240×320 portrait theme and when we install into e61, it will stretch automaticly into 320×240?
please help…

I attempted to transfer a theme to the E62 and get a “Certificate Expired” error from the phone. On the phone the Software Installation is set to ALL and Certificate Check is OFF. What’s this about? How is it fixed?

Babinokia really makes great themes! I tried making my own themes for my E65 with carbide.ui but I really hate the default blue icons for the S60V3 default theme. Do you know where I can down the default colourful icon set for the E65?

hey gise i was readin one of the forums and someone talked abotu the application theme DIY which allows you to create themes on your phone , does anyone know where i can download it for free!!!! if not i would have 2 pay for it and what is the fun in that!!! help me if you can would appriciate it !
