just got my e61,it was a choice for me between the e and n93 but unfortunately camera phones are not allowed where i work.i love this phone to infifnty.would love to get a full mod too keys and all.havent seen any mod that looks as good as the satndard.until i do……

Hi all…

For best results on your faceplates you could use the following:
PPG Automotive paint ( I suggest you prep your faceplate or you might damage it)

-or-

A more cost effective solution would be Krylon Fusion Plastic, Metal and miscellaneous paint. My suggestion would be to use some clear coat and wet sand for best results.

Why on earth would he not tell us the paint info. Thats just plain dumb. In all my years going to forums I have never heard anyone say such a thing. How about when he requests support info we all respond with “sorry, its a secret, can’t help you.”

That being said. White is the only mod I like since the silver keys seem to match it. This is the only mod where colored and matching keys may not look as good as the silver keys. The Ferreri red was great however the keys did’nt match.

I am painting mine white since its all scratched up and I don’t want any cheap plastic ebay replacement.

Hi all…
I was one of the ‘infamous’ modders for the white E61.
I am so glad it was very well received. I am sorry about the pics being low quality. It was painted on the original nokia face plate. The paint is a secret though.

Same problem here in South Africa. Really sparce range of accessories, impossible to get ahold of any covers at all. Had to import my pouch from Hong-Kong (PDair is BRILLIANT, BTW) I suggest you check eBay for the covers, Anuj.

Great white cover, but unless unless I could find a full black mod, I mean keys and all. I really cant see my E61 looking any better than it does in silver.

It looks really nice.. BUT in India, we dont get any panels/covers/mod kits..nothin of such sort..so i have to stick to my original panel.. if any one knows, where in India, i could get accessories for E61, plz leme know.. BUT at the end of the day, i love E61 and INDIA..

That does look really nice. On the shot with just the top portion you can notice that it may be polished white from the reflection of light bouncing off the surface near the ear piece. I would definitely consider getting one if it were available.
