Friday Themes
It's been a hectic week but it's finally Friday and time for some themes for your Nokia E61. I have received many questions about my current theme below:
It's probably the best Mac OS lookalike theme I have seen. For anyone with an Apple computer or a soft spot for the company you know what I mean. You will recognize many of the icons.
Mac_intosh by Mobile Reviews (Also a good blog)
Another Mac OS theme is MacOSX. Not as good for the E61 but it does the trick - gives you a nice Apple look. MacOSX By Maverick
I know, not everyone shares my fanaticism enthusiasm for anything Apple so here is another great theme from Mobile Reviews Drop_TDM by Mobile Reviews

Man, great themes as always. i am a fan of blue themes for some reason. I used to do themes myself long time ago for SE but I don’t have time any more, otherwise I would send you some. Thanx a lot!

You find the best themes. I didn’t think themes were a big deal until I tried to make my own. NOT EASY!

Redd - I completely agree! I downloaded Carbide.UI and attempted to just do some simple background editing but found it ridiculously hard! Its fun to learn tho
Hopefully I can release one soon.

Wow, the Macintosh theme is TERRIFIC! As a Mac user, the new icons immediately helped me make more sense of my phone, because I can now relate to their functions much easier. Thanks

Thanks! The Mac_intosh theme is ALMOST there…just some resizing issues with the icons and wallpaper. You can see jaggies. But thanks for the effort!

I just got my E61 today !!!
This is a great and a fabulous website, I have spent the last 2 hours going thru all the entries.
OK, this may be off topic. I may have missed it somehow, do you have Nokia Lifeblog for E61 ??? Or any software for blogging ?

I downloaded the Mac OS X theme on my Nokia E70. I looked great. Then I switched over to see how another newly downloaded theme, and when I tried returning to X after a while, it had vanished from the themes list. A strange case of self-deletion!!
I tried reinstalling X again and again, but the ‘phone refused to accept it. The same was the fate of the Black Google theme.

I am trying to install the Mac_intosh theme when I do, it gives me a certificate error, contact supplier message. Anyone else have this problem? Know what I can do to fix it?

Love your blog! Although I love the themes that have been posted here one thing I noted was some of the themes such as Mcintosh do not work well with my E62. With the Mcintosh theme I notice I do not receive email alerts- the sound portion of my alert. Also sometimes when I download some of the themes I have to check my phone settings because some of the settings are changed or erased completely(off position), bizzare to say the least.
The themes that work well with my E62 are alien ipod from babi, Pearl black, black google by babi and the themes that come with Nokia.
I only post my comments to see if anyone else has had the same problem. Could there be an issue with my phone?

I experienced the same thing as Tower2 with my E61 after I installed the Macintosh theme. I no longer get SMS alert notifications, despite having the right Profile settings (General).

This is strange. I don’t have those problems using the Mac-Intosh theme with my E61. I receive SMS notification (including the sound). Are you using the latest firmware?

Administrator could you post a link to the latest firmware for the E62. I have this love hate relationship with my E62 and I just want to make sure I am up to date. I apologize for asking but I get more info here then I do calling Cingular! Been bombarded with work and I am finding it hard keeping up with all the little things (inefficiencies) I am finding with my phone. When I change a theme on my phone I am now noticing that sometimes I have to reset my phone(taking battery out) two times before the alert button for email works. Also noticed by changing themes that sometimes my email password gets erased in outgoing section of software. I am not able to send emails. And while I am at it, there were a few occasions where I would set a ring tone and another ring tone would ring. I am telling you, this is so bizarre that one IT guy told me I should check for a virus.
I don’t believe it could be a virus. This could very well have nothing to do with the themes and everything to do with my phone. That is why I am now hoping there might be an updated software.

When i try to install a theme to my e61 there is messege comes always and called ‘certificate error please contact software vendor’(similar to this, idea is same) please help me. My email is blackemnc@yahoo.com

cool theme. Use it with flyakite osx 3 under windows, now my phone looks the same as the desktop!
