More GMask
I’ve received a lot of emails after the initial post about Gmask - the innovative company that wraps gadgets in a decorative and protective plastic film. Unfortunately, there are no Gmask stores in Europe or North America (yet). Until then, here are a few more examples of their great moddings.

Thanks Eric!

Ha! I thought this was an entry about a destroyed E61! Gasp! As if someone sent you a photo of a E61 vs. Microwave oven incident.
I’d love to try out these Gmask thingies.

There is a company that does the same thing out of Canada. Ships world wide. http://mytego.com/ they do a great job.

Went to mytego webiste and was totally impressed.
Can TEGO cover the E61 keys without affecting the backlighting ?
If keys have to be left uncovered than I would go with something like grey or white to blend in with the keys.

That looks like the difference between the tego one and gmask. my tego came and the keys and screen are all laser cut out. so on a device like the 61/62, there’s not much room for design on the front.

Redd, does tego cover the sides ?

Nope. just the front and back.

I’m from mytego - we are working on a second version that will cover further down the sides - we’ve had a number of customers request this. That being said, there still will be some gaps on the corners and what not, as the material is thicker than the gmask, and will crease around tight corners, so we needed to cut out these areas. hope this helps.
