fyi, I wrote to Clarivue and apparently there was a problem with the way the e61i skins were cut and they don't know when they're receiving the correctly cut ones, so they are having me send it back for a refund. would have been nice to know before ordering though.

pablo, where did you buy your case? I bought one from clarivue and it does not fit like a glove and makes pressing the joystick and surrounding keys (the only ones that are covered) difficult.
it's so loose though, that i can just move the skin out of the way to hit the keys. i was hoping for more of a glove like fit, if possible.

Hi there! I got the Silicone Case and love the feeling, but hate the fact that typing and using the joystick has set me back 3 months... it's as if I had a new phone and had to learn all over again.

The fact that I got the dark silicone case makes it had to read the keypad. Does anyone know if there is a way to eliminate the light sensor, so keypad is always on when keys are pushed?

BTW, i bought my through ebay to Argentina, and came from Hong Kong, so yes, you can buy it in India, China, Brunei, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, etc... it's U$S 4.99 for the case and $4.01 for the International Standard Shipping, and it comes with a screen protector (about 5 microns thick) (U$S 9 in all).

I got myself a total protection case from Krusell. It is pretty good and has a lifetime warranty. Though online shopping is not offered at www.krusell.se but it can lead you to the neartest dealership.

I already got a silicon case for my video ipod. While I listen to my fav. podcast, my player falled down for the desk *ohh shyt*. But the case imbibed the crash perfectly. At the moment of the impact, the music even doesn`t stopped. I happy and suprised.

If I gonna a buy a case for my e61 or any other sensitve device, it will be a silicon. Yes, it`s a question of taste, but your device will be handy as before.

Has anyone ever found a skin protector for the e61?

I've seen some clear, very very thin, transparent plastic skins that have a little adhesive that can be placed on mp3 players. Is there such a thing for mobile phones like the e61?

Even with the skin on, the device just appears shiny, but you can still see the entire device.

Everyone worried about the screen not being covered should get a screen protector. It's a bit of plastic that is thick enough to actually protect the screen properly. The main problem I had with it was the bubbles under it when I put it on, which I tried to get off and left fingerprints on the sticky underside which were then permanently visible, so I through the AU$2 thing away. I might get another one sometime, but I never have any issues with the screens on my phones.

Does the phone fit into a holster when it is inside the silicone skin? It doesn't look to me like it has a belt clip. Also, with the silicone skin on is it difficult to use the joystick and/or the left and right selection keys? One more question - Since the skin leaves the screen exposed, does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to protect the screen?

Hi guys/gals! I've been using this silicone casing for about a month now. I did not like the centre piece that is covering the joy stick, so I cut the centre piece away. Now it looks more pretty. Without the centre piece the joystic movement can move freely without being too constricted. Once I drop my phone accidently on the hard tarmac. Guess what? My phone survive without a scratch because it falls flat from the back. With the casing on the phone does not feel too thick and the rubbery surface provided a good grip for the phone. I would recommend this to anyone who has this wonderfull phone.

Just got mine today for $5.00 USD. And...

Well, it's not perfect. Darn it. This is the third case I've owned. I love the feel of it, but I really wanted a screen cover. I like the fact that the keyboard is not protected as it makes it easier to type, but without the screen cover it's not really protecting anything.

Had this kind of case for my E61 a week after I got it, its the best case for the E61 IMO. dust build up depends on the material used in the case, the softer it is, the more dust it accumulates.

I have the white case, looks pretty darn good on the E61 :)
