Things To Come - Salling Clicker Native S60 3rd Edition
There is no secret that I am a big fan of Salling Clicker. I’ve written about the existing java version as well as the beta version of the upcoming Symbian version.The closed beta of the next version of Salling Clicker reached a new level with the third (closed) beta release of the software.
The existing java version is an amazing application. It works really great! However, this new version runs rings around the previous version and most other applications I have used.
I have promised not to review the new version until it is released but I just have to mention that my favourite feature is the ability to control my computer* using WiFi instead of Bluetooth. Nothing wrong with Bluetooth but the WiFi set up was even easier and of course much faster to use than BT. I can’t wait for the final release.

Good news!
I have tried using “stop-gap” version on my Nokia E60, but was unable to configure the connection over WiFi. So this version doesn’t support conection via Wifi, does it? Only new version will support?

Great to hear some news about this. Since you last posted about the beta-testing I have been looking frequently at their site for new release. Is it safe for me to buy the software now and get upgrade free? I have bluetooth (and Windows), but want to use WiFi. Thxs

Strange, how did you get it working with the nokia E61? On my mac it won’t work :s, because theirs E61 in the list i took the the N70 and the N90 but it didn’t work…

It work fine for me in windows but once i choose BT i cant choose WiFi Again like it disapper

It’s not a theme, it’s the way the Salling Clicker application looks.

Hi thanks for the important info on the E61, I have to go buy one as I need to use goodlink for work. It’s nice to know it works well with the Mac, & Clicker, unlike my P990i. Great phone but sucks when it comes to Mac integration, how could they have got it so wrong? Anyway I will revisit once I come back from the Mobile phone shop
