Friday Themes - Nokia Theme Special
What a week it has been~! It feels as if I’ve been under a barrage of gadget related product announcements. First CES and then MacWorld. I never thought I would say this but I think I OD’d on all the press releases. I reached well beyond the point of saturation and my brain shut down. Hence the lack of updates this week.
Anyway - it’s Friday and time for some themes for your Nokia E61. I will try to have a theme (no pun intended) for my Friday Themes posts and this week the theme will be (official) Nokia Themes. Or at least, themes derived from official Nokia themes.
First up is the theme from the beautiful Nokia N73 Music Edition.
It’s not the exact theme but pretty close.
I always get a lot of questions when I take screenshots of the Nokia E62 using the official Dark Stripes theme. The below theme is variant of of the official Nokia E62 Dark Stripes theme. This theme has a nice orange touch.

Phil The Web Surfer aka PTWS, has made some modifications to the Nokia theme “city”. PTWS’ version is called Blue City.

anyone please knows how to remove a theme that has been installed on the phone ? I can’t find the files even with YBrowser, and they don’t appear in the apps manager…

Like the Dark Stripes, minus that text in Converter and Notes is the same colour as the background. Doh! Makes it tough to see.

If you use Firefox on your browser you just click the links to download the themes then BT them to your device from your Mac.
If you use Safari as a browser you might need to “ctrl” click on the link and use safe link as. Then you BT the theme to your Mac.

Great themes –is it possible to actually customise the home screen?
So, I could change the way it displays the email, calendar –such as the orientation and the text used?
This is possible with the Orange home screen on the SPVs (it’s an XML file) –I *hope* it’s possible on the E61.

Do you have the waveform theme from the N73 ME? I’m looking to put it on my E65 now that I’ve just ‘upgraded’
