They are definately collected, and the volume controls on the hs820 adjust the control on the E65, but no sound comes out. (The easiest way to test is to try playing something in the gallery, then connect the hs820 and play with the volume controls.). With the first E61 firmware, the audio quality was poor (popping noise). With the both successive firmwares the quality is GREAT!!!
