I have the same problem with an hs820 and an e65, no sound comes through the hs820. They are definately collected, and the volume controls on the hs820 adjust the control on the E65, but no sound comes out. (The easiest way to test is to try playing something in the gallery, then connect the hs820 and play with the volume controls.).

Jairo:-

"just bought copilot fir the e61. have tried it on a short trip and it seems to do the job. Low volume on speakers though. Any advice on the best way to stick my phone to my dash board? Copilot has a magnet, but I am not sure I want to have magnets around a memory card."

There's a couple of options, depending on your budget.
(1) Firstly there's the Nokia CR-47 for AU$86.99 on the nokia website. (Check your local one for price.)
(2) Secondly there's http://www.proclipusa.com. at US$19.99 or US$29.99.
(3) Thirdly there's a lot of cheaper car holders around in Australia (not sure about where you are) that look like this http://www.solware.co.uk/2005-images/smp_pic3.gif. They also come with clips on the back for an air vent. If you chose this option you'd be best buying in person so that you could check the beautifully wide E61 fits in the holder.

I posted but it never showed up, so I'll post again.

I ordered 3 items from BoxWave on Wednesday and they showed up the next day! I ordered the E61 Cable-Sync cable the Versa adapter and the universal adapter kit. Thank you Daniel for recommending these items. It reduces the piece count that I have to carry around with me.

I ordered a few items from Boxwave on Wednesday, 2nd Day Air. They showed up today, (Thursday). I wasn't expecting that quick of Service as I live in Alaska. Thanks Daniel, I took your purchasing them as a recommendation, so far the minisync cable is working flawlessly, I bought it mainly as a charger, but it's nice to being charging while I'm moving data around.

I'm using the Nokia AD-46 on my E61 with Koss Porta Pro headphones. With the first E61 firmware, the audio quality was poor (popping noise). With the both successive firmwares the quality is GREAT!!!
It's delightful to listen in e.g. internet AAC+ radio in bed in the evening.

I'm happy with the AD-41 adapter that I have... Here in India I find many counterfiets available that look the same... so be careful while getting an AD-41 adapter...

David:

Have you tried Smartmovie? I think it works quite well because you can preroll the sound so it's synched up w the video. I use Xilisoft for DVD movies w similar settings from Smartmovie and I think it's even smoother than the converter than comes w SM. There's also a free prog called Super Convertor(erightsoft) but you have to tweak it a bit for best results.

bodybydada:

Glad to see I'm not the only one w this concern. When you purchased you're headset from ebay it probably didnt come in a Nokia blister package, did it? I think the one my friend got showed up in a plastic bag only.

David
I also have sent an e-mail to Nokia in Brazil and they kept in silence until now (3 months). Thanks for sharing your experience - concerning to stereo earphones I will be in resignation for now. :)
About video convertion: I use smartmovie from lonelycatgames and its converter (counterpart pc app that comes along). As I do have lots of movies in avi format (700MB average) I started converting them. I am almost there in terms of playback smoothness (image and sound quality are already great). The file size after convertion is about 120/130MB - and I think will not change much from now on. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED ANSWER THROUGH HERE AND I HELP YOU
