Friday Themes For Your Nokia E61 and Nokia E62
This week’s theme post is a mixed bag of three themes by the ever prolific teddymustopo and one rather unique theme from Josh.

The next theme might give some people a headache if they look at it a long time but I rather like it. It reminds me of some paintings I saw here today.

There is something about Themes and BMW. I think we’ve had at least two BMW related themes before this one. Anyway, this next theme is unique. At least I have never seen this before - a pulsating visual effect where the cursor is. Very interesting! I hope Josh makes some more themes.

Nice themes. Will love to see more themes regularly… Visit this site everyday to get E61 themes. I think this site has biggest resource for genuine E61 themes…….

Would agree with you there, Pankaj. There are only two sites I know of that host themes designed particularly for the E61/E62, and this is by and far the best of the two.

igrec has added a fourth theme to his collection ( http://www.casualtek.com/kooky-phone-theme-pour-nokia-s60v3-n80-e-series-etc/ ) & is also working on an extremely nice looking theme called: ‘I wish I was a mac’ ( http://www.casualtek.com/2007/01/30/in-the-works-i-wish-i-were-a-mac-s60-3rd-ed-theme/ )
Lovely attention to detail with these themes.

I’d love to see these themes rated for usability and memory consumption. I had to use the igBase to free up enough ram to be able to load fark.com in the e-series browser. “Looking cool” should be secondary to usability and ram consumption in a business oriented phone…

I like the Red Manadarine one but unfortunately when I am typing text into the Web Browser and some other apps, I cant see what Im typing. I’ve encountered this in other apps where the text is white. Maybe its just something that is overlooked? If it could be fixed that’d be excellent.
I like GEEK’s idea too, although I have no idea how you’d do it

First of all i would like to say thank and i feel glad to see my contribution being upload it here.
@Teek, yes i overlooked at that before as i don’t use the build in browser at all, i use opera mini for browsing which is much faster and cheaper, but in my current themes, i already fixed that problem, if u want the red mandarine that has been edited u could email me.
@geek, as for the memory consumption, it would be difficult when u r doing the complete make up of the themes (icons and everything) and high quality images which is all in svg format and png format images, choose the one with the default icon, which will have low memory consumption.
And as for the usability, that’s is the main goal of the themes i made, i seldom use “too crowded” images just simple and plain, which sometimes also get bored though.
But all the inputs r taken and will be use to create the future themes.

Hi all everyone!
I want to know with what software i can create E61 themes.
I’ve downloaded Carbide.ui S60 from the nokia developers forums but it supports only the 2nd edition of S60.
Please take me a link where i can download a good program.
