You may want to upgrade to Outlook, but keep in mind that Nokia only supports Outlook 2000 and newer versions. You could also upgrade to Windows Vista and have out-of-the-box support for Windows Calendar, otherwise you're pretty much forced to either switch to Lotus (unlikely, I suppose/hope) or upgrade to Outlook and/or Windows Vista.

There are also 3rd party solutions such as a sync utility compatible with Google Calendar, just do a quick search...

Hello Guys, I would like to know how I could synchronize my agenda in my Nokia E61 since I work professionally with Outlook Express which does not have a calendar. I have synchronised my contacts already which works but I would like to synchronise my agenda as well without changing all my e-mail configuration by switching on Outlook. My present PC configuration is: Windows XP, Outlook Express and I hold a very old version of Outlook 1997 (if really necessary).
Can somebody help me?

IP Passthrough has, as far as I remember, been removed on the Nokia E61i, so this only works for the Nokia 9500, 9300, E60, E61, or E71 phones.

Hi,

As has been mentioned by others, I being an owner of E61i is not able to carry out the synchronising of mails with Outlook as the IP Passthrough option is not available. Can you please suggest an alternative please?

Thanks

My company has disabled OMA access too. I do not really crave push mail though, Is there any chance i can get the E61i access my emails on Exchange server using IMAP/POP3.

Thanks in Advance

Hi Sonny, Ed,

Do you have an update for the IP Passthrough for the E61i. Why would they leave this out of an upgraded phone (E61 has it) on purpose?

What surprises me more is that the God of all Nokia smartphones, the E90 does not have it !

Thank you very much in advance.

Jason,
That is not true. I would throw away your carrier!

Just do a search on the blog for "Mail For Exchange", there are a number of different blog post covering set-up, features etc.
Basically you need to know the following three things when setting up Mail For

Exchange to support push email of Exchange:
- Domain (which is not your internet address domain but your exchange domain)
- User name
- Password

Cheers

I have an e61 on the three network and wish to receive all my work e-mails as they come in through our work exchange server. I have been told it will only work through a POP or IMAP account. Is this true and should i throw the phone away!!!!!!!
