tpalice is right. I had major issues with the DST. My entire calendar was off by an hour and was getting very messy when I synced. I installed the "World Clock Update" and it's all cleaned up!
So, the disappearing DST patch that you are desperately seeking is sitting right there, incognito!

The "TimeZone Updater" disapeared from the US website. However the Europe website have another thing called "World Clock Update".

Based on the discreption, it seams the software does the same thing. But I'm not sure are they really the same though....

On the Europe support pages an update appeared for the E-series but dissapeared shortly afterwards, this was about a 20k file. Now there is a new update but 516k, only problem is when trying to install I get not supported error. Any ideas?

As I posted before I foolishly installed the e61 patch on my unbranded, unlocked e62. While the time is correct (pushed down from Cingular), all of my calendar appointments are one hour ahead of my desktop Outlook. I unistalled the updater via the app mgr and even reset! the phone. No luck. If anyone has any thoughts I would be eternally grateful.

[...] However today my phone and my computer said different things. Disturbing. Cause if you can’t trust your electronics who can you trust? It appeared that my computers were right, but my phone was wrong. I was pretty sure I had patched up my phone with this Daylight Saving Time patch from Nokia. So why was the time off? I went looking for the patch, but I couldn’t find it. Apparently I wasn’t the only one looking for it. I grabbed the patch from other places, but I was right, it was already installed on my phone. So I canceled the install and just rebooted my phone. And then the time was right. [...]

If Cingular says that using the auto-update will supercede the phone not being patched then excellent I dont have to worry :) I was starting to get worried since I updated my E62 to the unbranded nokia firmware...any cingular related patch wouldn't work.

Its better to use the official version if any from Nokia. MS recently had to pull out their first version for WM devices. Surprisingly, Nokia still has the DST patches for the NSeries devices.

I used the E61 update on my e62 and now my calendar is an hour ahead. Is there anyway to strip the patch?

In what area? Here in PA T-Mobile is virtually always within a few seconds of NIST time (via WWV or WWVB), as well as GPS time. True currently on E61, as well as previous devices and those of friends.
