Both customer service reps told me that this can't be done. I know it can be done from what I heard from someone who works at Nokia but I have not found out how. Very frustrating. I hate it so much. I wonder why they have to push Chinese support in Asian countries where a Chinese-speaking population doesn't exist. I managed to upgrade my E61 software to the European version, after coming across a site that explained how, and it made a whole lot of a difference, with the menu/messaging fonts looking so much more appealing and attractive. However, by doing so, I did away with whatever warranty was left on my phone. It didn't matter much to me then, as I had just three or four months left on my warranty, but I can't take that risk with a spanking-new phone. It's really bad, because I like this phone so much, and I'm so eager to get one, but the Chinese support/ put me off. It might mean nothing to most, but for me, a good-looking interface matters a lot, and that covers all, from icons to fonts.
