Nokia E65 Case
I'm picky about cases I use for my Eseries devices…
It has to be a really good case before I enclose the device in any protective casing of any kind.
Up until now I haven't found a case for the Nokia E65 that I liked. That changed when Roger sent me some photos of a case he uses for the Nokia E65.
The case was bought from a "Push cart store" in Singapore.
(Side track:Singapore sounds the right place to be! I love the fact that the push cart store keeps up with accessories for the latest devices 
Not like the push cart vendors we have on the Mission St. here in San Francisco)
The case is not quite one of those soft, rubbery cases nor the hard acrylic cases. It is some kind of combination of the two.
Also, the rubbery feel does not attract dust like many of the condom cases do.
Now if I could only find an identical case on eBay or somewhere else…

haha … dude… this push cart lady tried to con me into buying some weird crap when i stopped to ask her directions while walking around Mason/O’Farrell area a few days ago in Frisco, like i owed her for telling me directions … i dunno..

I’m noticing how tightly it appears to fit, almost like it was built-on. I would be HIGHLY interested in something like that, only in a deep brown leather. Almost to achieve a faux-Vertu look.

Someone at the store that i bought mine from said that the screen size is identical on most nokia slide phones so you should be able to use one. i think the cover above includes a screen protector too though.

It’s so ugly I mean why hide such a beautifull phone. Even to protect it, it’s my opinion of course, I prefer something like a leather case to carry it out.

Singapore’s the place to be for anything about cell phones. It’s as if collecting and owning the latest phones is a national hobby. check out eBay singapore and you might find interesting stuff for your phones.

I just bought an E65 for myself.
For those wondering about the price for the featured case, it easily cost no more than SGD10 or USD7 here in Singapore.
Like ian said, Singapore is a mobilephone crazy country, almost everybody owns one here, some even two or more! You can find stalls/shops selling such mobile accessories or even mobile phones almost anywhere, no kidding!

Hi everyone, so nice to read all this conversations. Cant help but to write in for help. But first, whereee can I get one of the casing too ? hehehe.
Now, I just got the E65 too. Its a nice phone. I used N80 b4 this too. But my itchy fingers immediately change the micro SD card to a larger card without realising that one of the application, ‘nuance zooms’ was attached to it and now I lost it in my phone. Can anyone help how can I installed it back via my E65 ? Many thanks for any great help. Cheers !!!

Hi,
I am from Singapore. If anyone here is looking for the case and is located in Singapore, you can try the push-cart outside Standard Chartered Bank opposite Parkway Parade. It is the one selling handphone accessories. Think it is retailing for 10 bucks each.
I went down and took a look at it. Honestly, the photos looked much better so I didn’t get it.

After reading few blogs and reviews regarding E65, I found that the 2 main comments are : CAMERA & SMALL FONTS. However, I cant find any answer pertaining to ‘Nuance Zooms’ for small fonts.

using the e65 and the e61, great phones, but no software to get themes or ringtones, etc. i live in india and the networks are not great in supporting downloads, so need to log on on the net and then transfer the software. the phone is use is a lovely red/burgundy shade of the e65

For those in Singapore, there is a small shop in the new mall Square 2 (next to Novena Square) that has this casing. It is quite hard to locate this shop as the mall itself is like a maze filled with little shops (those who have been to Chatuchak Market in Bangkok know what I mean). All I know is that this shop sells lots of handphone pouches amongst other girlie accessories. Keep your eyes peeled and be patient enough to walk around the whole mall (it wont take that long, thank god, its not even half as big as Chatuchak Market). Hope u find your pot of gold…

Has any one tried to sync with Exchange 2003? I am not talking about using POP3 or IMAP4… I am talking about proper direct push that is available for Mobile 5 type devices.
I have got Mail for Exchange installed on the device, disabled SSL requirement on the server. Other devices are synchronizing (dopod) no worries but Nokia E65.
If anyone was successful in that matter any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Need advices on the following,
1. The alarm clock setting cannot be set on a daily repeat mode. Need 2 set alarm clock every nite. Did I miss something on this phone?
2. How can I increase the font size?
3. Battery hardly last a day when I have Wifi turn on. It is normal?
4. I load Fring to use Skype and MSN. Work at home’s Wifi but cannot connect using my office Wifi, which I can use for Gmail and Surfing.
5. Although my Nokia PC Suite is working through Bluetooth, on my MS-Vista Notebook, it detect another Bluetooth Peripheral Device but could not find driver it install it. This happen after I install Nokia PC Suite and connect via Bluetooth to my Notebook.
6. I cannot find some contacts in my phone in the PC suite. I did refreshed the contacts between Phone and PC. However those missing contacts still did not get updated to the PC suite. Sometime PC suite would display wrong contact name on incoming SMS message.

@Pat: That is a screen saver that is supplied with Handy Clock. If you install, restart phone, go to themes and edit yout current theme and select Calendar under Power saver

Why cover any phone? Every case makes the phone bulkier and covers up the design, which teams of people have spent a lot of time & effort on! Just use the phone and, if it get’s scuffed, either live with that or simply buy a replacement cover! As for screen protectors, I use one from the firm 3M, which was designed for the E65. Very high quality, too.

It will show a “boat”-like object … instead of a media player..
