More Nokia E61i Photos
That Nokia devices attract large numbers of *very* loyal users is no big surprise.
Judging by the stream of positive comments from early adopters, the Nokia E61i seems to quickly be gathering a growing, loyal, fan base as well.
I came across these beautiful photos of the Nokia E61i on Flickr from someone with the great Flickr id "e61isuperfan" :-)

I call that a hard core Nokia E61i Fan!

cool~~~i wanna buy one, but my current cell is e61, and i think i should wait for a couple of days to see some new evaluations about 61i

having only purchased the e61 only a week ago, i cant afford an e61i right now, but it sure is tempting! the only concern i do have are the new buttons. i quite like the layout of the buttons on the e61 - albeit a bit cramped but the extra video call and multimedia buttons make it even MORE cramped for space.
now where can i find street fighter for my e61!!

Nice photos,… and I agree with daniel-sama…… How can I run Street Figther on my E61 ???
April 24th, 2007 at 3:27 am
I second that. Where can I find street fighter, if it runs on 61i should run on the 61. unless that was just a jpeg displayed in full screen
hope not

I have found this Street Fighter II game a month ago for N73, but it is almost impossible to play. The thingie is that u can hardly move, the gameplay is slow, a bit dissapointing for me. I dunno how it works on N73, but on my E61 it is a disaster.
April 24th, 2007 at 8:31 am
i just want to know when it will be available from amazon!!! i can hardly wait to get it to my hands!!

I’m a big fan of the E61i….had the E61, but hated the joystick and it felt somewhat cheap. Also I wanted a camera.
The E61i fixed all that. It’s got a good cameram the rocker is so much nicer, and the thing is not only beautiful, but great build.

is the synctunes only for Mac or is it available for windows as well, i googled for it but found nothing
April 24th, 2007 at 11:03 pm
Will there be a Windows version of SyncTunes?
Short answer: No.
Longer answer: No because SyncTunes is written in Applescript using Apple’s Xcode development tools, and uses the iTunes’s built-in Applescript interface commands, it also uses UNIX system commands. If it wasn’t for this easy-ish to use environment I wouldn’t have created SyncTunes.
I don’t have a PC nor any experience in developing on Windows so there will not be a Windows version.

Move the .Bin file to your memorycard.. Start Picodrive, and find the .Bin file in the memorycard. the E:/ drive

I just got the E61i two days ago, and I have to say WOW. I had a couple of friends who had the E61, but the looks of it just seemed like a beta quality product. The casing certainly wasn’t up to what I would call Nokia standards, but this E61i form factor and casing is simply amazing. The backing is now metal, the keys are slightly more rounded for easier typing, and the change from a joystick to the rocker button is fantastic.
I was incredibly surprised at how thin the phone is and how tough it feels. It just has the feeling of a very solid device that I can enjoy for years. I only have 2 complaints about the design: I wish the camera could rotate 180 degrees so it could be used on the front for video calls, and that it had a flash light like the Sony Walkman phone so you could take pictures at night. Other than that, I’m in love with this phone.
And the ability for people to develop applications that you can download from sourceforge… wow.

Does anyone know any tricks to getting the backlight to stay on while playing street fighter? I found a few ways to have it on for like two seconds and once it stayed on the whole time but I can’t figure out a way to do it consistently.
