I have downloaded and installed GMail. But where can I find the application in the menu. Only under Installation?
I have now placed it in the Active Standby.

Is there any way, that it can remember an Access point?

Thanks,
Bas

I'll still use the built-in email client, even though it's also flawed. Here even the numeric shortcuts don't work. A company with that budget can do better, sorry.

I just upgraded to 1.1.1. Before I downloaded from gmail.com/app, I check the version I had which was 1.1.0. When I was downloading, it said the version was 1.0.1. Strange. Not sure what the difference is though. I don't see any changes.

But it did upgrade to 1.1.1. Just check the version before & after the install.

Ditto on Google getting us IMAP and/or an app for domain mail. Either or both would be awesome.

For me the gmail application is good as my provider block port 25 access. This app uses port 80 by default.

every time I click a link in the gmail app i have to point it to an access point (i'm using wifi). isn't there a way to make it remember the access point so I don't have to keep selecting it? (like when I'm surfing the web)

I just updated.. very nice :). But, I guess I prefer using pop3 access over the application because the eMail is more integrated in the operating system (especially with attachments and so forth), but the application is particularly useful for viewing my items under my numerous labels.. ahhah.
