I knew it was a matter of time before the curiosity got the better of a very brave Nokia E61i owner.
C'mon who doesn't want to see the innards of a Nokia E61i.
Sabesh was the brave and curious Nokia E61i owner who sent me these amazing photos of a gutted device.
He reports that it's a tad more trickier to open up the Nokia E61i compared to the Nokia E61. But it was easy enough.
I can report that no Nokia E61i was hurt during this process. The device is still fully functioning

i just picked up my E61i. its great. but it doesnt have the glass over the screen like the E61 does. gonna have to be more careful with this one.

Is external housing made of metal? Back is for certain (except camera cover) but how about frame?
Partly metal. Anything silver is metal, dark brown is plastic.

i am having trouble getting the e61i to recognize a wep hex encripted access pt for wi fi. not sure of the proper settings. any thoughts
hi. Does anyone know how if any place sells a back casing to cover the camera lens as my workplace does not allow camera? thanks.
sabesh - where are you located? i have a different keypad layout but when i type the ? and the / symbols, they are reversed.
if i had your keypad.. it would be perfect! maybe my e61i has the wrong software on it and thinks it from another country and has a different keypad layout.
