Printing From Your Eseries Device
Good advice is worth repeating… or in this case a good "how to" guide.
Most Eseries users probably don't know that it is quite easy to set up printing from your Nokia Eseries device.
The devices come loaded with the necessary settings to print to a number of HP printers. But even if you don't have an HP printer it is possible to print to almost any printer.
Kenneth wrote a great guide regarding how to print from Nokia E61. (Don't forget to check out the comment section as well).
There is also another great guide written by Moobekk about how to print from your Eseries device to a printer connected to a Windows system.
Update: Pierre sent me a tip for printing from E65 to HP Photosmart 6180 on Airport Express
Network (MacIntosh). It's just … impressive:
Printer: HP6180
Driver: HP Mobile Printing
Bearer: Socket/HP JetDirect
Access point: Put here the name of your WLAN access point.(ie. Home WLAN or
however you called it)
Host: IP of the printer (ie.10.0.3.1)
Port: 9100
Orientation: Portrait
Paper size: A4

nice, but if you exit and shut it down, it will also shut down the Mail For Exchange service. And thus, a need for reboot.

@Mohammed:
yes. i believe you need a lan capable printer on your network for printing. one of the settings that that the eseries ask for its an IP adrress or DNS to manage the print. because of that i dont think you could print from your phone to a usb printer. i have just read the nokia e61 printing guide and its states that “printing to other printer models may not be possible”. so i guess your are pretty much stuck to hp models. i own a hp 2600n, this weekend i will try to set up my e61i for print to see how it goes. tell you later.

One BIG missing feature is pdf printing !!!
When you view a pdf file, you don’t have any option to print it

The big f*** with the e61i and the Quickoffice is that when you have a document with a scanned signature and you open it with Quickoffice, you cannot see the signature anywhere (the image) and therefore cannot determine where in the text it is located. With the e61 and the word editor this was not a problem. Anyone a solution ?

I had to do a PAID upgrade of 22 euros to the Premier version to be able to see images …!
