Nokia E61 and gmail

Thomas over at Trikenit.com has a great post about how to get a pushed base email experience for the Nokia E61 accessing gmail accounts. It's a workaround but clever and simple.

    What’s the point to redirect the mails from a POP3 server to another POP3? This guy should use an IMAP server, then he could have real push mail, not this “check mailbox in every 30 minutes” poorness.

    You can browse to gmail.com with your phone and it will redirect you to download gmail client for e61. very recommanded
