On The Radio

I found a new favourite radio station for my Nokia E61i.
If you haven't tried using your Eseries device to listen to the radio I recommend some older post where the topic is discussed in detail. Such as this post and this post and this one (Don't forget to read the comments as well, that's where you will find a lot of good information).
Anyway, Ion sent me a Shoutcast playlist which I used with Nokia's Internet Radio Client. One of the included stations was 1.FM - The Chillout Lounge, which I have been streaming most of the day.
Thanks for the shoutcast file Ion!
The file is available for download here.
(Don't forget to put the file in the Shoutcast folder on your device. For more information see the above links to previous posts about radio on the Nokia E61).

Hey krion, thanks.
I was about to mention that one! I tried it out yesterday and it’s not bad, just full of advertisements.
I’ve used my PSP and a program called PSP Radio for a bunch of updated playlists. Now I can take those stations and edit the shoutcast playlist(in .txt format and change it back to .pls) for my E61 Internet Radio.

2 Chimera: are you on T-Mobile USA? Cause mine stopped working as well just recently.
2 All: Does that mean provider is blocking some particular ports? And is there any way to reconfigure the access point? Thanks in advance!

I called T-Mobile today and they said, that as of May 9th they’ve started blocking some ports, so you gotta pay $29.99 a month to get full access, plus you get a hotspot (or whatever it’s called) WiFi account. No more radio for t-zones subscribers

Hi, ACTPOHABT. I’m not in USA. I can streaming some TV stations with RealPlayer. But for this Internet radio I never succeed…

hello NILESH PAI, i have the E61i like you and managed to load 2 radiocasts into it - the 2 links given in this blog (uk radio + bay USA radio) which come as zip files. download them, save them into your phone or SD card and open them by selecting it under file manager - from there follow the steps given by nokia E61i instalation helper which will extract the RAM files trought your REAL PLAYER ONE - you are ready to listen to live radio now! *if you have dificulties you can chat with me on yahoo messenger under nickname “soundzen” or drop me an email at soundzen@yahoo.com)
