Hi. My first post here. I put a lanyard on my E61i because i do find it useful to pull out of my front jeans pocket. You can do it another, less invasive, way. Slide off the battery cover halfway and hook the lanyard’s thin nylon loop over the tooth at the top (that engages the battery cover) then push the battery cover back up. The tension will keep the lanyard loop in without any problems. I’ve been using this method for a month and it works brilliantly — the lanyard is fairly central (though not dead centre) and balances out the weight of the phone when you pull it out.

Hope this helps those looking for a lanyard option.

Aren’t the two holes above and behind the volumes keys for a lanyard? Or is that the speakerphone?

Thanks to a drop in pants size I currently wear baggy pants. However, I still wouldn’t find this lanyard mod particulary useful. My E62 is big enough that I’d grab the phone before I reached for a lanyard.

After adding a small strap, the backcover was harder to put on, and the audio adapter (AD-15) fit loosely. I then removed the strap, and now everything works like it should again. Have you not experienced this too xtemujin? :/

Now, to wear this phone around some1’s neck has gotta be the craziest idea ever. I mean, a phone has to be small and light enuff to be weared like this, and E61 is definitely not small nor light. This phone, IMHO is to be weared on a belt, and thats it.

Quick question, I have scratched up my Nokia e62 quite a bit, and I’m looking for replacement OEM housing. I was curious whether someone knows where to buy replacement housing, or if a Nokia e61’s housing would work.
