Metal Striped Nokia E61
Ericko had his Nokia E61 decorated by the talented guys at Gmask. They created a one of a kind Metal Stripe Nokia E61.
I was hoping that Gmask would have opened a store in China so that I could have had a few of my Eseries devices modded but sadly, they do not have any presence in China, nor USA for that matter. At least not yet.
I know that as soon as they open up shop in the US I will be lining up with my devices
Thanks for the photos Ericko~!
More examples of unique Nokia E61 over at the mod gallery.

Stupid Gmask! They’ve got a shop in Melbourne (Australia’s second largest city) and there’s a note saying ‘Perth coming soon’. Don’t they know Sydney is the biggest city in Australia, not to mention _where I live_!!

That’s bringing up memories. Having the phone custom painted was the rage in Finland about ten years ago. Of course having your phone masked with a think film does look lot better than thickness of the paint. I actually liked the idea and few designs. Makes me wonder if I could use the left-over red carbon-fibre film from a car project. It’s not the usual 1mm to 1,5mm thick that’s used for bonnets, but think that wase used for few interior items. Hmm.. If I was not selling my Nokia 9500 I just might.. lol
Really cool, have to visit them next time I’m somewhere they are too…

Off track a little. I have no idea which thread i can actually bring this query up. Anyone have any idea if the E61i software could be installed into the previous E61? Will it boost the system processing speed when running applications?

Alright Ed, alright. I can’t afford to drive for 12 hours or fly there just yet. By the time I can I’ll have spent the money on an E61i.
