Hi ppl, just installed latest version of MFE for my N95-1. Very impressive. Unfortunately mailforexchange.com provides free storage capacity of upto 25MB of email space. Quite tiny compared to what free mail service providers provide these days. But this one provides mobile colutions perfectly without any problem. Any of you guys or gals know about other websites provides free mail for exchange servers for emails? (plus settings) :-) Thank you all.

Hey good news people! I have a N73 ME and was figuring out a way to use my office mail in it. I was already doing webaccess, but i needed mail for exchange software for it. I read somewhere that in the "downloads" shortcut of "internet" folder of the phone, webmail is available. So i went to the menu and updated the contents, to my surprise, i actually saw Mail for exchange for N73 there! I went ahead and downloaded it, it works like charm! only thing is, it doesn't show the mailbox in Active standby screen. But sync works fine and i was able to send mails/recieve and delete too!

The mailforexchange version that i got through the download is version 2.03(0) Go ahead and install in your N73s! finally iam able to use my email properly through my n73!

Does anyone know how to set it up so that when I delete an email on my Nokia, it is NOT deleted on the exchange server and Outlook?

I other words, I have an assistant that checks my email and organizes it for me... yet I still like to be able to check emails as they come in... on my Blackberry... I would delete emails I was not interested in at the time and yet my assistant was still able to see them and do what she wanted with them.

I get 600+ emails a day and obviously managing them on my phone would not be fun.

Thanks.

Here's a do this at your own risk solution to how i resolved the exchange server not responding issue:

Step 1. Installed the webmail certificate on my phone. This can be done by opening webmail in a browser and saving the relevant certificate.
Step 2. Restart you phone
Step 3. Remove the proxy server address from the internet connection settings on your phone
Step 4. Set the Application settings to All using the App Manager - Adv settings

Hope this helps!

Mail for exchange for Nokia 6120!

I was also disappointed that MfE does not run on Nokia 6120. Then I found an application called "emoze", which is a perfect substitute. It downloads emails from my office account running on MS Exchange. You can get emoze from http://www.emoze.com

Tried this on my 6120 and it doesn't work.

The code changes no problem using NSS but still won't run MFE2. It installs but fails when you try and run it.

Very annoying for a phone that is meant to be a business phone.

This can't be installed on any other S60 FP1 device, like my 6120 Classic. However, has anyone tried changing their phone's product code using NSS to the N95 EURO code, 0536062, and then tried installing Mail for Exchange? Does this work?
