I so much want one! A question to you readers, has anyone seen the Black Nokia E61i available online? I have gotten word that it is available in certain Asian countries but I haven't found it available online yet.

The silver/mocha looks better than this. Might be more interesting if it was gloss black, like the Blackberry 8820.

End-of-life for E61. E50 was done when they finally came out with black. I guess that is the old trick when a product is long in the tooth and you need to still flog it because you are not ready with replacement.
Its long overdue for E6x series to have HSDPA and GPS by now. “Black” is just a gimmick to cover for that.

The black E61i looks soooo great… I love my silver/mocha E61i, but a new black cover would be perfect!!
@ skagen Why should E61i be done? Metal Black e50 came out in December 2006, and E51 will be introduced not before Nov/Dec 2007. A whole year is between these dates… That would mean that a successor for E61i comes end of 2008….

I first liked the E61 because it somehow reminded me of those old calculators from the 80’s.
In Black it looks even more ‘Texas Instruments’ ;0)

I am from Malaysia. I am a owner of Nokia E61i for 6 months. This black version of Nokia E61i is cool.
Is this black case available in the market?

Does anyone know if black housing is sold separately? I would definetely go for that. Besides the original covers are starting to lose their shine.

I own a E61 and still am very impress with it’s funtionality and it’s ability to play all those SEGA games. The graphic is amazing not to mention i use a alot of the SIP function everyday. I haven’t tried the E61i yet but i heard it’s more or less all the features that E61 has.

yesteday, 29 October 2007 i just bought this model e61i, i use palm treo 650 and nokia 9300 before. nowadays, i still try to make friends with this confusing e61i, but dont misunderstanding, one also confuse when have a new gadget… try to intimidate. hahahahaha. i bought this from Smart Com @ sun Plaza Medan - Indonesia.

Oops, I meant a software uninstaller.
That cld B downloaded via Wifi
in order for us to delete themes
directly, W/o use of d data cables.

I buy e61i three months ago and it only have one colours.. And now Nokia continues “the habit” of its corp,by changing the case of the phone and you know,it was cool.. Can i change my old case?

Got the black version but I prefer the silver/mocca version better. The blue on black (Fn characters) and the black on blue on black (numbers) are really difficult to read unless you tilt at a very odd angle.
