Nokia E65 Desktop Cradle
My favourite online retailer for Nokia Eseries accessories - Boxwave, has done it again. This time they have released a USB desktop cradle for Nokia E65.
Boxwave has actually made two different Nokia E65 desktop cradles. One version of the desktop cradle is designed with a spare battery charger behind the slot for the device, see photo below. The other version of the Nokia E65 desktop cradle is not equipped with a spare battery charger.
Naturally, with both versions of the desktop cradle you can synchronize and charge your Nokia E65 to your computer.
The price for the desktop cradle without the extra battery charger is $32.95 and the cradle with the extra battery charger is $52.95.

they have a desktop charger for the e90 as well. and it looks just like this one. could it be the same?

Very good article, for my E65 i see in the picture that the cradles have mini usb, very usefull for me becouse i use a pda with mini usb cadle and a camera with the same cadle and the psp, so is very confortable to me use only one cadle to conect all my devices to the pc.
The only thing that i can ask to make perfect this product is, that the device charge the E65 by USB conection, that will be perfect.

Dear Sir,
Reading about nokia LD-4W GPS receiver here and in other web pages I’ve noticed that there is no AC charger provided in the package. There is only a car charger.
I wondered if it was possible to charge this GPS device with a Nokia 6120 classic edition charger.
Do you know if it is possible?

Nice cradle. I’ve just ordered the e61i version. Regarding the question “they have a desktop charger for the e90 as well. and it looks just like this one. could it be the same?” - I used to work in the cell phone industry. We commonly used the same base unit with different plastics for the top portion that would match the cell phone from different manufacturers. In some we would populate different resistor packs or diodes to change the charge voltage.

@Luis Suarez: This is not the same as the E90 cradle. The two phones have different connectors and different vertical support widths.

I just got one and it seems to work better with the USB cable than the AC power cord in that it stops charging with the AC cord before the battery is fully charged. It does charge with the USB cable (in answer to Manual 8025) and seems to work in that mode so I will save a few mille watt hours and not use the AC adaptor.
