Wow - I'm finding that there are a lot of new (for me at least) firmware updates available for Nokia's Eseries devices. I just updated my Nokia E51.
As always, don't forget to back-up the data on your device before upgrading.
There is no official news on the Nokia Software Update page about the slew of firmware upgrades for the Eseries so it is hard to know exactly what was updated.
I expect the official page to be updated with information over the next day or so.

does anyone know what will happen if the firmware update failed? i heard that it will render my phone useless, if before the FW update i backed up my phone, can a backup restore fix it ???
I’m using Nokia E51, Nokia PC Suite 7.0.8.2, Nokia Software Updater 1.4.64, current FW version : 100.34.20, I wanted to update to FW version : 200.xx.xx.

I just got 220.34.37 available through NSU. Wonder what’s new, nothing on on nokia official website yet.

I updated my Nokia E51(Asia-Pacefic:India). The only noticable chaneg I had are:
1)While switching the phone on,the vibration is longer.
2)When the called party is not reachable/busy,phone hangs for a few seconds.
I did not find any improvements. I advice others not to install this update.

3) Applications does not install even after date change.
I did not find any improvements. I advice others not to install this update.

I updated the Latest firmware of Nokia E51 (300.34.56) and it has a problem with Time Zone when set Vietnam into GMT 0:00 (the correct ones is GMT +7:00). How to correct it?
