Ok but would there be a reason why using through SSL should make it work? I would have thought the opposite was true?

I am using RoadSync to sync over SSL ports and it works just fine, I suggest you try it over SSL.

Yes I am. The active sync ports are opened. There is no SSL security.

Are you using MS Exchange 2003 with SP2 installed?
Make sure the ActiveSync ports are opened (over SSL) from the internet to your Exchange server.

I am having trouble getting the M4E on my N95 8GB to talk to my Exchange server. Everything connects but then I get an error "error in exchange. Try again later". There is nothing on the internet about this error, and although it is mentioned in the documentation for M4E by Nokia, they do not say what it means!

I have tried roadsync too and that errors at the same point with an HTTP 500 error message with the code 0x7370d02.

I have tried both sets of software on another N95 98GB but get the same results. I have the latest firmware for the phone installed too.

My guess is that as this happens after the M4E connects then it must be a setting either in Activesync or Exchange Server?

Help!!!

Joono - did u solve this?
I had the same after upgrading to MFE2.0.5, but the 12345 worked.
I see there is some autolock option in the phone settings I cant disable only set to a maximum of 60min.
my guess is this autolock is related to the server and set by the company admin (as others in my company have compleianed) but not sure.

if someone knows how to disable this autolock 'feature' of the phone due to MFE, please step forword...
Thanks!

For those of you with the error ‘Use secure connection’ when it's already enabled on the MFE profile, it could be your Exchange server version conflict. If you have a 2 server setup - front-end OWA/OMA server connecting to a backend mailbox server - both need to be the same version of Exchange. A 2003 OWA server connecting to a 2000 mailbox server will casue the ssl error to happen on your phone. I discovered this error in the event viewer app log on the owa server. I suggest you check this log to see if you are having the same issue. We still have some mailboxes on a 2000 server but are moving them to a new 2003 one which causes this error to disappear.

Hope it helps!

Hi All,

I just upgraded my E61i yesterday, and then I installed Mail for Exchange, set up my employer profile for Mail for Exchange. That has some security Feature in it, that makes the phone lock after a while.

Well, Mail for Exchange never ask me to set up the password or anything like that... Now it has locked the phone, and even if I restart it ask for Lock Code,

I have entered 12345, but it doesn't work.

Does any one know how to reset it??

I can receive phone calls, but I can't make any phone call at all. I am completely blocked

Please help

Same problem as with iLya above,

I’m using mail2web.com and I’m forwarding my gmail to it. But whenever I reply to an email, it uses my mail2web.com email address. Is there a way to set the “reply to” address to my gmail?

Thanks
