Just so you guys know, you can remove that triangle in the corner of the screen protector. Just gently lift the corner of it off and it peels right off the underside. Then just drop the corner back down and no one will know the difference!

I had it like that for about 2 weeks then the protector got scratched, its just a cover it was never meant to be used as a screen protector. So I switched it for a Martin Fields protector and the difference is big.. much more durable.

Thefonedoc,
You are not alone, we're a silent majority out there keeping the original screen protector ON ;-)

Hi. Been reading your site since I bought my Nokia e61 here in Phils. Looking for tips to maximize the smartphone. So far so good, but I'd like to know if you know of any application within e61 that can do a search through information. For example, if you're looking for a to-do list item "Grocery" it will search through contacts, calendar, mail etc. just like a palm device?

As far as I'm concerned, I LOVE MY E61.. haha.. and it's been with me 24x7 for the last two weeks. Wifi, YM is working but Internet Calls via WIFI, GPRS and VPN/Remote desktop I've not found info on how to make them work and I do hope to find them soon.

Thank you for the great blog and enjoy your month long vacation.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only dork that kept the original screen protector :). I only removed mine a couple weeks ago after being laughed at by chics in Europe!
