I received a number of screenshots of the upcoming Nokia E61i, which provides a good sneak peak of what is to come.

I should note that these are just some screenshots and my own extrapolations based on the below images. For a great preview of the Nokia E61i I recommend you read AAS' excellent write up - preview of the Nokia E61i
I received a few emails over the weekend pointing out that My-Symbian also posted a great, extensive preview of the Nokia E90 Communicator. So if you, like me, can't enough of the Nokia E90 there is a very thorough write up of the Nokia E90 by My-Symbian over here.
Nokia has released an update for the changed dates of Daylight Saving Time (DST). In the US, DST starts three weeks early and ends one week late.

The boys over at top notch All About Symbian has a great preview of the Nokia E90 communicator.
I did it. I decided to get the beautiful, new Nokia E65. This device is truly a perfect match between beauty and brains. It's stylish and slim yet incredibly powerful.
I've taken a number of photos of the device, including comparison shots of the Nokia E65 and the Nokia E50, E60, E70, E62 and the Nokia N80.
Update: I included some more comparison shots, including photos of the E65 and the N80.
Today's theme is somewhat unusual so I will make an exception to my regular theme posting schedule (limited to Fridays) and post this anyway.
The theme is created by Nokia and the timing of its appearance coincides with last week's the availability of the Intellisync Mobile Suite 8.0 for enterprise. (Press Release here and more about Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite here)

A big thank you to Boston Rob!
One of the absolute highlights of running this blog is the user feedback. Email I receive from average Eseries users like you and I.
Last week I must have gotten at least ten messages urging me to try out the beta application available on Eseries devices from Smart2Go - the mapping company Nokia acquired back in August '06.

Thanks to everyone who told me to try it out - I like it!
One of the great aspects of the application is the flexibility from an end user perspective. The application/service can be used with or without GPS. There is also a free, basic service as well as a premium option. So whether you have an GPS unit or not, and whether you want to upgrade to the premium version or not, there is something for everyone.
Want to know when the Nokia E90 Communicator is available in your market?
Nokia has set up a web page where you can sign up for email alerts to find out when the device is availble.
Thanks to the boys at AAS for the tip and *thank you* Boston Rob for the great photo. Got any of the new Eseries devices? Send me a photo: 3gsm2007@e-series.org
Last week was Valery, this week it's Phil aka Phil The WebSurfer. Here are two simple yet aesthetic themes by PTWS.

John S has been a busy boy in Barcelona and scored us some photos of the Nokia E90 out in the wild.
For me as a "business user" the Nokia E65 has a feature that will make a *big* difference in my daily routine.
It's something I have been waiting for a long time - easy access to some core "voice" functions. These are tasks that I perform over and over again.
Can't get enough of the newly released Eseries? Here are some photos of the Nokia E61i in the wild thanks to John S in Barcelona.
Nokia today announced three new Eseries devices. The slim, sleek, sexy, slider - Nokia E65, the next generation in QWERTY mono-block - Nokia E61i and the King to rule them all - the majestic Nokia E90.
I received a photo from John S. who is lucky enough to have all three of Nokia’s new Eseries devices, Nokia E61i, Nokia E65 and Nokia E90.

Thanks John S.
Do you have any pictures to share? send them to 3gsm2007@e-series.org
I’ve been a big fan of Google Mobile Maps on the Nokia E61 since it was released last year. However, I wasn’t terribly impressed by Windows Live Search For Mobile when the beta was announced late last year. The support for Eseries devices was questionable and the application felt more or less like a “me too”.
That was then.
Microsoft is back with a new, much improved, version of Windows Live Search For Mobile.

Valery is a talented theme designer who has a knack for coming up with unique names for his themes. Who can forget themes with names such as "Kooky Phone", "Unexpected" and "Black Is Nice 2"?
I'm glad to say that Valery is back!

A common question I am asked is whether it is possible to synchronize your email with your device. That is, not using OTA email push but rather using a cabled synchronization of email from your computer to your Nokia E61. I thought it was impossible and even answered that it couldn't be done. It turns out I was wrong (I apologize for misleading some of you).

You can cable sync your email from an Exchange Server using Mail For Exchange. It is a bit complicated but Sonny has created a great tutorial.
Nokia Mobile Search is now able to search for content stored on your device, such as email, text messages, calender entries, music and video files.
The new version of the application can be downloaded from here.
