Dear Spinvox - I Can’t Live Without You!

Monday, July 30th, 2007

I've gotten hooked on a new drug and I cannot, will not, give it up.

The name of this wonderful new thing that is making my life better and more productive is SpinVox.

SpinVox is the British company with an impressive motto: "Any Voice, Any Phone, Any Screen"

SpinVox converts voice messages left on your phone to a text message delivered to you as an SMS or via email.

I'm often on the phone or in a meeting so I end up getting quite a lot of voice mails. Since my days are often action packed and I run from one fire drill to the next and from one meeting to the next I frequently forget (or don't have the time) to check my voice mail.

The location of the photo is below the winners podium for the United States Gran Prix.

Next up are three great photos from Jackie of Nokia E65 in one of my favourite cities in the world - London.

John and many other characters in the film are using Nokia devices.

Thanks for the photos John McClane!

Interesting: Seven Always On - Beta

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Wow! what a difference one year can make.

Last time I used Seven Always On was in the shape of Cingular Xpress Mail (Seven powers Cingular's AT&T's Xpress Mail service) on my Nokia E62.

I was *not* impressed with the service.

Well, the boys and girls over at Seven have been working hard. I was mightily impressed with Seven's beta of their upcoming new version. I recommend giving their new version a try - the beta is open to the public.

I’m Baaaack~!

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Sorry for the lack updates. The past few weeks have been very, very busy. Work is as usual very busy but on top of that my wife and I bought our first home together - Yay! we now own a piece of America, or at least the bank does…

Another reason for my silence is that for the past month I have had the opportunity to try out a few other devices.

I haven't tried this myself yet but I take your word for it :-) I'm really glad that Nokia has added support for Eseries to this great Mac media transfer utility!
